Gain Your Confidence Back With the Help from the Mommy Makeover Specialist
The one thing you miss about your pre-motherhood days is your flatter, more toned belly. While you love being a mom, you wouldn’t trade it for anything.
Your physical appearance can be negatively affected by pregnancy, there’s no doubt about it. Stretch marks, a puffy pooch, and excess skin replace your once slender physique. Exercise and eating right can help you regain your pre-baby body, but only to a certain extent. You need to take more drastic measures to repair loose skin, weakened abdominal muscles, and stubborn fat deposits. The perfect solution is a mommy makeover!
We are one of the leading cosmetic surgery clinics in Var County County specializing in mommy plastic surgery, which is one of our most popular services. Breast augmentation, liposuction, and buttock augmentation are all included in the mommy package plastic surgery. Our mommy makeovers also include what we call “mommy tucks” and “mommy lifts”, otherwise known as tummy tucks.

An explanation of the “Mommy Tuck” surgery
“Mommy tucks” refer to tummy tucks or abdominoplasty procedures. Aside from flattening the stomach and reshaping the abdominal region, this procedure can also smooth out the waistline and erase stretch marks.
We affectionately refer to this procedure as “mommy tuck” because of its positive effects on the mid-section, and it’s an integral part of our mommy package plastic surgery. Pregnant women’s midsections endure a lot. It is common for the fascia (abdominal muscles) to become weakened as the skin stretches extensively to accommodate the growing baby. Stretch marks are left behind by the stretching of the skin. The midsection can also accumulate deposits of fatty tissue. A woman’s appearance can be dramatically altered by all of these factors, leaving her with a puffy and stretched-out “mom pooch” or “muffin top”. This is why we call the procedure a “mommy tuck”; it corrects all of these issues.
Why is the "Mommy Tuck" Surgery so popular?
As part of our mommy makeover package, Dr. CS Kim Plastic Surgery offers two types of tummy tucks: a full tummy tuck and a mini tummy tuck.
This procedure involves repairing the entire abdominal region, including the region above and below the belly button, with a full abdominal tuck. A weakened abdominal muscle is tightened and excess fat and skin are removed during this procedure. You may benefit from a full tummy tuck if your post-pregnancy body includes a “muffin top”.
A mini tummy tuck or partial abdominoplasty is another type of “mommy tuck” we offer. An abdominoplasty that targets the lower abdomen instead of the entire midsection focuses on the area under the belly button. During a lower belly tuck, excess skin and fatty tissue are removed and the abdominal muscles are repaired, just as they are with a full belly tuck. There may be a solution for you if you have the classic “mom pooch”.
Prior to the procedure
Dr. Kim will consult with you before your mommy makeover. During your consultation, you’ll discuss your goals, the parts of your body you’d like to improve, and the reasons why you chose this particular procedure. After an assessment of your body, Dr. Kim will determine which procedures he believes will yield the best results, based on your current physique and your goals; for example, which type of “mommy tuck” surgery is best for you: a full or a mini one.
When is the “Mommy Tuck” surgery performed?
While you’re under general anesthesia, you’ll undergo your mommy makeover at Dr. CS Kim Plastic Surgery, which includes a “mommy tuck” as an outpatient procedure.
Your abdomen will be strategically incised by Dr. Kim so weakened muscles and loose skin are removed. As well as removing deposits of fatty tissue from your abdomen, liposuction is used to remove them. You’ll be placed in a compression binder to aid the healing process after the surgery is completed. Dissolving sutures will close the incisions.

Sandy Hook was founded when several proprietors with land in the area relocated together to reduce isolation. Within a year of the settlement of Newtown, some of its proprietors began moving away from the central village to some of their larger parcels. Colonists found that the Pootatuck River at Sandy Hook allowed for saw and grist mills, leading to it becoming one of the first outlying areas to be settled. The neighborhood did not grow dramatically until the mid-19th century post-industrialization.
On December 14, 2012, Adam Lanza shot and killed his mother at home, then went to Sandy Hook Elementary School where he killed 26 people including 20 children. He committed suicide when police arrived in the school. It was the second-deadliest mass shooting in U.S. history at the time, after the 2007 Virginia Tech shootings.Sandy Hook in 2007
